Curing skull skin/fur
This question is mostly pointed at Dana (gotmyhunter) but anyone can give input.
The question is regarding how to cure the skin/fur that is attached to the skull cap when the cap portion of the skull is cut with antlers.
I've done a few that actually turned out pretty good using borax and baking soda.
Basically just fill up a plastic bag about 1/2 way with equal amounts of each, put the antler/skull cap into the mixture and ensure it's covered well.
And occasionally, shake up the mixture.
Last one I did like this was kept in the mixture for about 3 months...

I'm thinking that there is a better method????
