I definitely see the niche market for these in urban areas where it is illegal to discharge a firearm. I am concerned that once they catch on you will see local ordinances revised to replace the term "firearm" with something more generic pertaining to caliber and velocity. That way anything with a certain caliber and velocity will be illegal weather it be a firearm of air rifle.

If it's noise level, why not get a suppressor? Surely you can get one for around the price of this high dollar machine. I'm not bashing these at all, I just want someone to fill me in on what it is that I'm missing.
I can't legally shoot a regular rifle where I live (urban) and have more deer than I can shake a stick at. However, I can legally shoot an air rifle.

From what I've gathered, you either have a interest/use for these guns or you don't. My interest is peaked because of the situation I listed above. I'm not sure I would be that into it if that wasn't the case.

Here are some YouTube videos of air rifle hunts.

Can’t tell if that guy shot the deer in the back of the head or what. Very strange that he waited to take the shot while the deer was facing away from him. Had multiple opportunities at a broadside shot.

Ha I noticed the exact same thing. It did the job though.

I noticed that too. It sure looked like a brain shot by the way it kicked. I'd personally never shoot for the head and plan on always taking broadside shots with mine.

Stay tuned for some harvest pictures

From the looks of your pictures, shooting a deer from your back deck shouldn’t be too difficult!

I have a .25 Marauder and a .357 Bulldog and I love them both. Outstanding PCP hunting rifles.
