Was it ever confirmed if these guys were wearing PFD? Could have all been for naught if they were unconscious and on their face in the water, but at least the family will be able to put him to rest.

Water was at 32 or just below and heavy wind/snow at time of accident. Rumor I heard was they were both in waders but not sure on pfd. I'm gonna guess no though because the body they found wasn't far from where it supposedly happened and if they were floating they'd have been washed 10s of miles away in the past month +. I was talking to a buddy a few weeks ago and we were both thinking they were in the ocean at this point if they had been floating. Buddy said the father of one of the guys has been out every day since looking. Guess this past weekends crazy storm and blowout tides pulled the body free from an underwater tangle and washed it up to shore. Praying they get the out guy and close this for the families.

James river was at flood stage just a couple of weeks ago, I’m extremely surprised they recovered a body.

Sad to hear. I guess they weren't wearing float jackets. How deep is the water around there?
