Another Desert Dog Down
#1
Early morning coyote hunt in Imperial Valley. Call was bullet HP, sound was Thunder Jack and Wailing Jack. Rifle is Troy PAR 6.5 Grendel with Barnes 120 grain TTSX. Range was 100 yards. Opened with some lone female howls with no response. Five minutes into calling this Coyote showed and tried to circle downwind (very windy this morning) so I popped him.[Image: 8f522e7fe98019fd940a69b76060de0a.jpg][Image: 86d35b4b765207e71167c34ac89e2a29.jpg][Image: 1eda4d1e3eac91e43efb9ea1ea8a0bbc.jpg]

Nice shooting Squid; is there a season on yotes or are they a nuisance species?

Thanks. They are furbearers and season is open year round.
