Wanted: Hunting Club Membership or Lease

Hello! 

I am looking for a hunting club membership or lease for 2016. The ideal location would most any Southern VA County other than the extreme western part of the state. Club must have NMT 12 (prefer 6 or less) members relative to the amount of acres. Prefer still hunting only, but........ Members must be transparent and honest. Willing to pay up to $2000 per season for the right situation. I am a resident of eastern NC if that matters to anyone. Thanks!

I'm not trying to come across demanding rather I'm just explaining what I'm looking for. I don't want to waste anyone's time. I've found once you get about more than about 12 members it's just hard for everyone to be on the same page.....

I'll be straight up honest with you ncbowhunter..finding a club that suits your needs will be like trying to find a needle in a haystack, especially in the Southern part of the state. There are very few still hunting clubs, all of which have well over 10 members or more.

Thanks for the reply. My post explains what I prefer but again it's relative the amount of acres, habitat, etc. I would hope potentially paying a higher amount per member would reduce the total amount of members. You never know, a squirrel will find a nut every now and then......

I appreciate you responding to the humor.  You are dead on about the numbers.  There can be more chiefs with less indians.

Alot of folks are especially weary of recommending clubs or people for membership when they are not known. Forum relationships are far from being able to call a person FRIEND. Many, including I, have been burned by recommending or even inviting a member to join or hunt. Nowadays its almost mandatory for prospective member to be sponsored by a current member and be vouched for. Not something that many will do... but perhaps a more active approach would be to actually tell us something about yourself other than you have a good bit of cash that you canb plop down.. how long you've been hunting, what you've harvested over the years.... and so on... just an observation...

Just a observation but I fear we will see more of this. I HAVE $$ and want to hunt land... regardless of the initial intent of the post.. I have a 3000 acre lease that you can bow hunt until the beginning of gun season...
