Excited
#1
Got my November 4th buck dropped off at a friends house to get mounted a week ago, he got started on it and I'm very excited to get him back. Should have him by the end of next month. Got an idea of what the rack on the mold is looking like. Got a semi sneak left turn. Can't wait! Will be posting the finished product when I get it back.

lookin good Tony,I get excited every time I walk past the barrel out back that has my 8 pointers skull in it submerged in water, that rotting smell just does it for me,oh yeah,my wife loves it too....... rolling

The ones Ive done in the past have needed to soak in a Tide/Lysol mixture for about a week prior to the peroxide bleaching job and they still smell a bit.

Update: it looks like a deer now! Pinned up to dry. I got to see it all come together and learned a lot. Will be learning more from him. The next buck I kill I will be doing on my own, with the supervision of the taxidermist of course. Can't wait!!!! Here's the process today.
