Ewwww, does that make your blood boil! I get pissed when people honk passing a stand I am in, but this is a whole new level.

Scary stuff. Gotta watch out for booby traps in your own stand.

Those looked like permanent stands on private property?

Used to see this a lot in Germany. ALF members damage or topple stands on the regular.

I hear there's a ton of requirements, courses and certifications to hunt and fish in Germany or Europe.

Sure are Billhoo. Most Germans pay 3000 euros to get a license, and then the course is 6 months long. I did it at a fraction of the cost and time because i took an intensive course taught in both German and English.

Sucks. A few years ago I had someone remove the pins from one of my ladder stands and cut a cable. They stole the bottom 2 ladder sections out of a 2 man stand I had on the same property. I was pretty sure who it was but didn't have proof. I put a camera on the stands and never had issues again.

If it is in season I will hunt it.

I hope you put the camera(s) up high where they could not reach!

So, was the stand camouflaged? Or was the hunter being hunted/stalked? ALF members sneak out when hunters leave to vandalize their stands?

Makes me feel like I need to keep bear spray handy for such encounters.
