According to DWR, they are going to draw a limited number for the 2022 season. Lottery is sometime this winter. Check the DWR webpage for more info.

Lottery is open. I think it was $15. Only five tags being offered, if I remember correctly. Hunting Oct 14-21 or something like that. You can still take Elk on a deer tag outside of the lottery counties.
